Event Description

Join Climate Mayors and the University of Pittsburgh Center for Sustainable Business as they host a discussion with leaders of the Ohio Valley region to discuss how local climate initiatives can help stimulate local economies and create jobs, while simultaneously improving public health.

Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley and Youngstown Mayor Jamael Tito Brown will join moderator CB Bhattacharya, H.J. Zoffer Chair in Sustainability and Ethics at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, to discuss how local multi-sector partnerships are delivering meaningful results and how a federal government committed to enacting climate-forward policies can work in tandem with cities across the country to amplify and accelerate existing efforts.
