Dan Lampmann

Dan Lampmann is a strategist, innovator, and community-builder who serves as the Sustainability Partnerships Manager of the University of Pittsburgh Center for Sustainable Business. Dan’s scope primarily focuses on stewarding the Center’s Member Community through research, education, and engagement that helps them learn how to leverage their investments in sustainability to generate better business and societal outcomes. Dan is responsible for managing the center’s signature program, the Sustainable Business Forum (SBF), for both large corporate as well as small and medium business (SMB) Members.

Prior to joining the Center for Sustainable Business, Dan spent 6 years as a nonprofit manager and strategic communications and community engagement consultant at several impactful Pittsburgh-based organizations including: Change Agency, All for All Coalition, Literacy Pittsburgh, The Global Switchboard, and P3R. He also served as a Heinz Fellow at Pitt’s Center for Urban Education in 2017-2018.

Dan is the Founder and President of a Pittsburgh-based community organization, Yinz Run Club and serves on the Board of Directors of ARYSE, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit organization that supports immigrant and refugee youth in becoming engaged, confident, and celebrated members of our communities.

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Dan has lived in Pittsburgh for 11 years.
